Bonjour ! Je m’appelle Charlie Le Brun et je suis auteur-compositeur et chanteur Breton. 
 
Mon projet concerne la réalisation d'un album-CD de 4 chansons bretonnes aux couleurs Celtiques. Suite à l'enthousiasme généré par mes précédents singles (200,000 vues), je lance cette cagnotte afin de pouvoir prolonger mon aventure musicale : grâce à votre soutien, j’espère ainsi continuer à transmettre et partager mon amour de la Bretagne et de la musique celtique (Alan Stivell, Nolwenn Leroy, Tri Yann, Yann Tiersen...). 

(EN) Welcome! I am Charlie Le Brun, singer/songwriter from Brittany (France). I am launching this crowdfunding campaign in order to produce a 4-track album of Celtic songs, inspired by my native Brittany.

Votre contribution envers mon nouvel album musical permettra donc non seulement de soutenir directement la scène musicale indépendante mais, de manière plus large, elle contribuera aussi au rayonnement de la culture Bretonne. 

(EN) Following the recent success of my latest Breton songs (200,000 views), I am now asking for your help to carry on producing and releasing a new EP and to continue to share my love for Celtic music and my passion for Breton culture.

Utilisation des dons // Use of funds

Cette campagne de financement participatif, en sus d’une contribution personnelle de ma part, participera aux frais d’enregistrement et de production de mes nouvelles chansons (50%*), ainsi qu’aux coûts de pressage de l'album (20%*).

(EN) This crowdfunding campaign will help cover the costs of producing and printing my new 4-track album (EP). The money collected, in addition to a personal contribution, will also be used to release and promote the album.

Les fonds récoltés seront également utilisés pour la diffusion et à la promotion du disque (10%*), sans oublier les coûts de production et d’envoi des contreparties proposées (10%*). Enfin, une partie du budget final (10.50%* ou 8%, en fonction de l'atteinte à objectif) sera directement reversée à la plateforme Kengo, partenaire dédié aux initiatives et entreprises Bretonnes. (*calculs prévisionnels fournis à titre indicatif).

(EN) Finally, about 10.50% or 8% of the budget will be directly collected by the Kengo platform, which is dedicated to the promotion of Breton initiatives and local projects.

Qui suis-je ? // About me

Je suis Charlie Le Brun, auteur-compositeur et interprète, né le 23 Janvier 1988. Issu d’une famille traditionnelle Finistérienne, j'effectue un parcours scolaire bilingue Breton/Français à Rennes où je me découvre une passion pour la musique Folk/Celtique.

(EN) I am Charlie Le Brun, Breton singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist born in January 1988 in Rennes. Brought up in a traditional Breton family, I started speaking the local Celtic Breton language from a very young age. 

Vers l’adolescence, je compose mes premières chansons à l’image de mes idoles,  Alan Stivell, Nolwenn Leroy, Yann Tiersen, Gérald de Palmas, The Chieftains et The Corrs.  En 2008, âgé de 20 ans, je démarre ensuite une carrière musicale qui me mènera autour du globe (Bretagne, USA, Chine, Allemagne....) et qui sera récompensée de plusieurs prix musicaux.

(EN) A diligent student, I joined the National Conservatory for Music of Rennes in 1996, before I started to compose my own songs, inspired by my pop and folk idols:  Alan Stivell, Yann Tiersen, Sinéad O’Connor, The Chieftains and The Corrs.  

Inspirées des plus belles danses et mélodies Bretonnes, mes chansons originales aux couleurs Pop-Folk celtisantes rendent hommage à la Bretagne, terre de mes ancêtres, et incluent des paroles en Breton, Français, Anglais et en Gaelique Irlandais. Plus d'infos : charlielebrun.com
